About Us
Founded by Dr Antonina Babchuk, British Veterinary Professionals for Ukraine quickly grew from an idea and a Facebook group into a full scale operation providing aid and support for Ukraine
What We Do
Since Russia launched the invasion on Ukraine (24 February), reports estimate that thousands of men, women and children have lost their lives, with countless more civilians injured as bombs, missiles and rockets rain down across the country.

Now, British Veterinary Professionals for Ukraine are mobilising colleagues across the UK to send supplies – including emergency critical care diagnostic and medical supplies, bandages, tourniquets, wound care and surgical implants – to help emergency services.
Who We Are
My name is Antonina Babchuk and I am a second generation Ukrainian. I am also a Veterinarian. I needed a way to help my country. With a humble, home grown idea and a list provided by the Ukrainian Medical Association I started the Facebook group British Veterinary Professionals for Ukraine.

Thanks to the Facebook group we are gathering much momentum and support from various organisations including the British Veterinary Association and the British Equine Veterinary Association - to conduct a multifaceted response to the ever changing situation in Ukraine.
